Anders Fredenslund

Anders Fredenslund is a Senior Researcher at DTU Sustain since August 2020, specializing in remote sensing of fugitive emissions. Previously, Anders served as a Senior Consultant at Ramboll, focusing on waste management and bioenergy projects, and held a postdoctoral position at the Technical University of Denmark, where responsibilities included quantifying gaseous emissions from waste facilities. Anders also has experience as a Civil Engineer with a focus on biogas project management at Erhvervsstyrelsen and Naturstyrelsen, and provided freelance consultancy services for Solrød Municipality. Anders's career began with a PhD at DTU, where research addressed methane emissions mitigation at landfills, complemented by teaching and collaboration on regional biogas strategies at Roskilde University. Anders holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a PhD in the same field from DTU.
