Anders Poulsen is an experienced academic and research professional with a strong background in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. Currently an Academic Employee at DTU's National Food Institute since September 2019, Anders has previously served as a Scientific Consultant and Research Expertise Leader at A*STAR, where responsibilities included providing chemoinformatics support and leading drug discovery projects. Additional academic involvement includes the role of Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore, focusing on Drug Design and supporting various drug discovery initiatives. Prior experience encompasses leadership positions at S*BIO Pte Ltd and research roles at Lundbeck, coupled with a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy and a Master's in Pure and Applied Chemistry from DTU.
