Ashraf Khalil

Associate Professor

Ashraf Khalil is an Associate Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since February 2022, previously serving as an Assistant Professor at Universiti Teknologi Brunei and University of Benghazi (Garyounis), where responsibilities included teaching courses such as Control Systems I, Linear Systems, Digital Control, and Renewable Energy, as well as supervising laboratories. Khalil held the position of Head of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at the University of Birmingham from 2009 to 2011 and began an academic career as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Benghazi from 2004 to 2008, teaching C++ Programming and Circuit Theory. Khalil holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Birmingham, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Benghazi.
