Birgitte Zeuner

Birgitte Zeuner serves as Head of Studies for the BSc Biotechnology program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since October 2018. With a background as Associate Professor focusing on enzymatic synthesis technology, Zeuner's research includes enzyme discovery, protein engineering, and the optimization of enzyme-catalyzed syntheses. Previous roles encompass Assistant Professor at DTU Bioengineering, various postdoctoral positions, and significant project leadership in human milk oligosaccharide synthesis. Additional experience includes evaluations for research councils and collaborative research at institutions such as the Universitat de Barcelona and DSM. Birgitte Zeuner holds multiple degrees from DTU in Biotechnology and has pursued further education in management and university teaching.
