Brian Seger

Brian Seger is a Professor and Associate Professor in the Physics Department at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where responsibilities include research on corrosion mitigation, electrochemistry, and photochemistry, as well as lecturing on topics related to sustainable energy. Brian leads a research group focused on electrochemical CO2 reduction to molecular fuels and has a strong publication record in high-impact journals. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both the University of Queensland and DTU, where significant contributions were made to solar energy devices and corrosion protection technologies. Brian began a career as a Lab Technician at Pilkington, developing glass adhesives for the automotive sector, and held intern positions at Air Products. Brian holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo College of Engineering.
