Deniz Atan currently serves as the DE&I Lead at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, overseeing a diversity, equity, and inclusion plan for approximately 14,000 students and 6,000 employees since January 2023. Prior to this role, Deniz was the Project Manager for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at DUF – Dansk Ungdoms Fællesråd from November 2018 to December 2022, leading the nationwide project “All Youngsters Included in the Community” and managing extensive stakeholder collaboration. Between March 2015 and October 2018, Deniz managed the “CROSSROADS” project at DGI, focusing on inclusion and diversity initiatives. Earlier experience includes consultancy work at Rapolitics, which involved international youth projects, and a student assistant position at the Danish Institute for Human Rights. Deniz holds an MSc in Political Communication and Management and a BSc in Business Administration & Psychology from Copenhagen Business School.
