Gergo Kovacs is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in developmental biology and molecular investigations. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since August 2022, Kovacs focuses on high-throughput profiling of human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cell cultures. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at DANDRITE, Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University, from February 2021 to January 2022, Kovacs examined molecular changes in Parkinson's disease, particularly in relation to endoplasmic reticulum calcium responses. At the Institute of Genetics, Biological Research Centre, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, from July 2016 to January 2021, Kovacs explored the role of polycomb protein RYBP in neural development and conducted bioinformatic analyses on polycomb multi-omics datasets. Gergo Kovacs earned a PhD in Developmental Biology and Embryology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Szeged.
