Henning Heiselberg

Henning Heiselberg is an accomplished physicist with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as Head of the Center for Security at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since 2010, Heiselberg also holds the position of Assistant Lecturer. Previously, Heiselberg worked as a Senior Scientist at Forsvarets Materieltjeneste from 2007 to February 2017 and has contributed to various roles at the University of Copenhagen, Danish Ministry of Defense, University of Southern Denmark, Danish Defense Research Establishment, and Nordic Institute of Theoretical Physics. Additionally, Heiselberg’s professional journey includes positions as Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and postdoctoral roles at prestigious institutions such as the Niels Bohr Institute and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Educationally, Heiselberg earned a PhD and MSc in Physics and Mathematics from Aarhus University.
