Jon Ashley is a highly experienced academic and researcher in the fields of analytical and forensic science, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University since February 2022, and an Assistant Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since September 2019. Jon's extensive background includes a Marie Curie-funded fellowship at INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, focusing on the development of nanosensors and novel molecular imprinting techniques. Past experiences also include research fellowships and postdoctoral positions at Cranfield University and the University of Basel, along with early career roles in industry, including development chemist at Unilever and QC analytical chemist at Pfizer. Jon holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, as well as various degrees in Chemistry and Education from prominent institutions.
