Jörg Hübner

Jörg Hübner is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and academia, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Helsingør Gymnasium since July 2022, with prior board membership beginning in 2018. Hübner has held the position of Director at DTU Nanolab, a national center for nano fabrication and characterization, since February 2009, while also working as an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark since March 2000. Previously, Hübner served as Deputy Director at DTU Nanotech from 2005 to 2009 and as Senior Engineering Manager at Sparkolor from 2001 to 2002. Additional experience includes co-founding Serstech AB and holding various board roles from 2006 to 2014, as well as working as an R&D Engineer at Ionas in the late 1990s. Hübner's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Photonics from the Technical University of Denmark and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, complemented by executive education from Harvard Business School over two years.
