Julian Quick

Julian Quick is a researcher currently employed at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since June 2022, having previously held positions at the University of Colorado Boulder as a postdoctoral researcher and research assistant focusing on wind energy applications and uncertainty propagation techniques. Prior experience includes a role at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Wind Energy Systems Engineering Research Intern, where Julian contributed to the development of the Wind-Plant Integrated System Design and Engineering Model (WISDEM) and optimization of wind farm control strategies. Julian's earlier academic involvement includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder and as a teacher's assistant at Humboldt State University, alongside project management roles in sustainability initiatives. Educational qualifications consist of a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a BS in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University.
