Kevin Smith is an Associate Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since January 2016, focusing on energy-efficient building systems and off-site modular construction. Research interests include the use of equation-based modeling tools for decentralized ventilation, novel heating systems, and optimal energy solutions. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position in model predictive control for low-temperature district heating and roles as a basketball trainer at USG and an engineer at Potentia Solar Inc. Kevin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering of Sustainable Energy from DTU, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental Option) from the University of Toronto.
