Kim Branner

Kim Branner is an accomplished professional in the field of structural design and testing, currently serving as Head of Section at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since June 2003. With a background that includes roles as Senior Scientist and Head of Team "Structural Design & Testing," Kim has extensive experience in academia and research. Prior to this, Kim worked as a Naval Architect and Research Engineer at ShipTech A/S from February 1995 to June 2003. Kim holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, both from DTU. Additionally, Kim has engaged in advanced studies at Cornell University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, further enhancing expertise in the field.
