Kim Knudsen is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of applied mathematics and computer science. Currently serving as the Head of Education and Head of the PhD School at DTU Compute since 2015, Kim Knudsen has held a professorial role at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since 2008. Prior to this, Kim Knudsen worked as a Lektor at Aalborg Universitet in 2008, and as both a Lektor and Adjunkt from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, a postdoctoral position was held at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2005. Kim Knudsen earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Aalborg University between 1999 and 2002, following a Kandidatgrad in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution.
