Lars Jelsbak

Lars Jelsbak is a Professor in the Department of Systems Biology at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where tenure has been held since 2010. Prior to this role, Lars worked as a Post Doc, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at DTU from 2005 to 2009. Lars' early research experience includes a Post Doc position at Stanford University School of Medicine in the lab of Professor Dale Kaiser, focusing on the regulatory genetic network of the sigma-factor RpoN within Myxococcus xanthus. Lars Jelsbak earned both a Ph.D. and an MSc in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Southern Denmark between 1997 and 2001.
