Lars Skjolding

Lars Skjolding is a Senior Researcher at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, specializing in ecotoxicological impacts of industrial discharges and emerging contaminants since January 2018. Previous roles include Researcher on the MERIT project, focused on minimizing environmental impacts of produced water discharges, and Postdoc on the PATROLS initiative, which aimed to enhance nanomaterial hazard assessment. Lars has extensive experience from earlier positions at DTU, including Postdoc and PhD Fellow roles, concentrating on the limitations of existing ecotoxicological test methods for nanomaterials. Lars's career began as a Student Worker assisting high school students in environmental laboratory exercises and further included work as a Freelance Consultant at Ecocon miljø ApS, performing risk assessments and promoting energy savings. Lars holds a PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from DTU.
