Lena Kitzing is a Full Professor of Renewable Energy Economics and Policy at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where Lena has held various leadership roles including Head of Division Wind Energy Systems and Head of Section Society, Markets & Policy since January 2012. Kitzing also serves as a Part Time Professor at the Florence School of Regulation. Previous experience includes managerial and business development positions at DONG Energy, and research roles at Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE and Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy. Kitzing holds a PhD in Energy Economics from DTU and has engaged in international experiences, including internships and graduate programs with RWE and HARC.
