Oscar Borries has extensive experience in mathematical engineering and business development. Currently, Borries serves as Director of Business Development, Chairman of the Board, and Head of Team for Mathematics & AI at TICRA, leading a team of ten engineers focused on research and development in mathematical modeling and machine learning. Previously, Borries held the position of Senior Research Engineer, specializing in scientific computing, statistics, and numerical analysis. Borries has also contributed as an Industrial Ph.D. Student at TICRA, implementing advanced methods for computational efficiency in antenna applications. In addition to roles at TICRA, Borries is a member of the advisory boards for MOSEK ApS and Nautimated ApS and serves as a member of the stakeholder panel at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Academically, Borries holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and a Master of Science in Industrial Mathematics from DTU, along with project management and board member education credentials.
