Patrick Munk

Patrick Munk is a highly qualified academic with a robust background in Computational Biology, holding a PhD from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Currently serving as Committee Chair for the Formidlingsudvalget at Det Unge Akademi, Patrick is a member of this academy from 2024 to 2029. As an Associate Professor at the DTU National Food Institute since April 2018, responsibilities include research, teaching, project leadership, and science communication. Previous positions include Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU, along with visiting roles at the University of Melbourne and UC Berkeley. Patrick's educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by a Master of Science in the same field, both from Københavns Universitet.
