Per Bækgaard

Per Bækgaard is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in human-centered artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and user experience engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of Study at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Per focuses on research and teaching in these fields while co-founding BaseOnline IVS to provide data services in the transport sector. With a rich background at Nokia, including roles as Director in various capacities within its chipset and cellular engine divisions, Per managed significant global teams and multi-billion EUR business areas. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering from DTU and an M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
