Per Knudsen

Per Knudsen is a prominent academic currently serving as a Professor at DTU Space, National Space Institute, specializing in Geodesy and Earth Observation since March 2019, and has been a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark since January 2007, where also holds the position of Head of Geodesy. Previously, Per Knudsen held leadership roles as Head of Department and State Geodesist at the Danish National Space Center (2005-2006) and the National Survey and Cadastre (1989-2004). Early in the career, Per Knudsen was a project scientist at Geodætisk Institut (1985-1988) and Aarhus University (1983-1985). Academic credentials include a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Copenhagen (1986-1989) and an MSc in Geophysics from Aarhus University (1976-1983).
