Rasmus Davidsen is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aarhus University since April 2022. Rasmus has been a Post Doc at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since May 2016, focusing on the development of photovoltaic retinal implants. As a co-founder of Black Silicon Solar since 2011, Rasmus has been instrumental in developing and commercializing nanotechnology solutions for the solar cell industry. Rasmus completed a PhD at DTU Nanotech, where research included developing nanostructured black silicon solar cells for commercial applications. Educational background includes an M.Sc. in Materials Science and Nanotechnology from DTU, as well as time as an exchange student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
