Simon Hertig has extensive experience in innovation and public administration, currently serving as a Senior Executive Officer, Special Advisor, and Liaison Officer at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since August 2020. Previously, Simon worked as a Mission Innovation Fellow at the MIT Innovation Initiative and a research assistant at DTU Entrepreneurship. Simon held the position of Liaison Officer and External Relations Officer at DTU Skylab, focusing on fostering collaboration with companies to promote innovation. Additional experience includes serving as an Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at DTU, along with roles as a Student Assistant at the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation, and a trainee at Invest in Denmark. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Roskilde University and has pursued additional studies in Innovation Strategy & Management at Copenhagen Business School.
