Simon Steensen

Simon Steensen is a PhD Fellow at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on computational electrochemistry. Prior to this role, Simon served as a Data Analyst specializing in data mining and fraud detection at ATP, where algorithms were developed to identify fraudulent activities related to public and social benefits using machine learning and statistical analyses. Simon also gained experience as a Student Assistant at Styrelsen for Dataforsyning og Effektivisering, working on algorithms related to geographical references. Earlier professional experiences include tutoring mathematics to elementary school students at GoKarakter and co-founding SOUNDBOKS, a successful speaker company. Simon holds a Master of Science in Quantum Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences from Københavns Universitet, along with an exchange semester in Physics at Western University.
