Thomas Hansen

Thomas Hansen is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) since January 2021, previously serving as a Senior Scientist at DTU Nanolab from November 2010 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing an environmental transmission electron microscope (ETEM) and conducting research on nanoparticles for catalytic applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher at the Center for Electron Nanoscopy at DTU, postdoctoral positions focused on electron microscopy at the Fritz-Haber-Institut and environmental transmission electron microscopy, and a PhD student at the University of New Mexico. Thomas Hansen completed a PhD in Chemistry at DTU from 2002 to 2006 and obtained an M.Sc. in Materials Science from the University of Copenhagen. Early career included work as an IT consultant at Rigshospitalet, Denmark.
