Chris Shaffer has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 1993. Chris started their career at Ribozyme Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist in Process Development. In 2003, they joined Sirna Therapeutics as a Senior Group Leader in Oligonucleotide Chemistry. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Merck as a Research Fellow in Process Research. From 2009 to 2018, they worked at Regulus Therapeutics in various roles, including Director of Pharmaceutical Development, Associate Director of Pharmaceutical Development, Group Leader in Oligonucleotide Chemistry, and Senior Scientist in Chemistry. Since 2018, they have been working at TriLink BioTechnologies as a Senior Director in Oligonucleotide Process Development. Most recently, they joined DTxPharma in 2021 as a Senior Director in CMC & Process Chemistry.
Chris Shaffer attended Iowa State University from 1987 to 1992.
