Guriq Basi

Guriq Basi is currently the Head of Pre-clinical R&D at Kalgene Pharmaceuticals, where they drive innovative drug development efforts for neurological diseases. With a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University and a PhD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Guriq has held various leadership roles, including CSO at Circuit Therapeutics and Elan Pharmaceuticals, and extensive experience in research and management across both biotech startups and established biopharmaceutical companies. Their career spans significant contributions in biologic and small molecule development, leading to numerous IND filings.
