Gobind Basmall

Gobind Basmall has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Director of Security Assessment, Planning, and Design at du since April 2009, where responsibilities include developing security strategies and providing security advisory for new products and services. Prior roles at du also included Senior Manager for Security Research & Development and Manager for Fixed & Core Network Security. Gobind's experience began at Mindtree Consulting as a Network Engineer from 2000 to 2004, followed by a Senior Engineer position at Apara Enterprises from 2004 to 2005, and Solutions Architect at Hewlett Packard from March 2005 to March 2009. Academically, Gobind holds a Master’s degree in Computers from Anna University Chennai and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from the University of Kerala.
