Marwan bin Dalmook

Marwan Bin Dalmook has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications and technology industry. Marwan has held several senior executive positions at du, a leading telecom company in Dubai.

From 2013 to the present, Marwan served as Senior Vice President at du, taking on various roles such as NBI Design & Delivery, and ICT Commercial & Business Development. In these roles, they played a key role in strategy formulation and execution, portfolio development, and establishing operational entities for managed services and smart city initiatives.

From 2015 to 2019, Marwan was the Senior Vice President - Managed Services and Smart City/Smart Gov Initiative Lead at du. Marwan led the design and delivery of the TRA Federal Cloud Infrastructure and Security Operating Centre, managing numerous government entities and establishing security operations and cloud command centre entities.

In addition, Marwan also served as the Managing Director of the Smart Dubai Platform Project Company from 2016 to 2018. Marwan led various smart city and smart government initiatives, built business models, and fostered relationships with regulatory bodies and ICT providers to position du as a leading smart city ICT provider.

Prior to their roles at du, Marwan held positions at Dubai Holding and Dubai Internet City. At Dubai Holding, they implemented network infrastructure projects and designed communication systems. At Dubai Internet City, they served as a Network & Development Team Leader, implementing IPTV systems and wireless solutions.

Marwan Bin Dalmook completed a Higher Diploma in Business Information Technology from Higher Colleges of Technology from 1996 to 2000. Marwan then pursued an Executive Leadership degree from INSEAD from 2012 to 2014. Later, they attended INSEAD again from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a degree in Business Management with a focus on Collaborative Leadership & Decision Making.
