Dual Aspect is an architecture and interior design practice based in Rome, established in 2021 by Luca Bertoletti and Nicola Masini. The studio was born from the desire to merge their professional backgrounds across Italy and the UK, blending two design cultures: the material sensitivity of Italian tradition and the disciplinary rigor of the Anglo-Saxon approach.

The studio takes its name from the concept of “dual aspect”, a method and mindset grounded in balance: between form and function, intuition and technique, creativity and discipline.

Each project by Dual Aspect is tailor-made, developed through close dialogue with the client and a deep understanding of context. From spatial layout to material choice, every element is conceived as part of a unique architectural composition.

The studio works across residential, cultural, and hospitality sectors, with a focus on bespoke interiors, refined detailing, and sustainable solutions. Our design process is both analytical and artistic, aiming to create projects that are unique, emotionally engaging and timeless.
