Mark Cook has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Mark is currently working at DUAL Group as the CIO since January 2022, after serving as an Interim CIO from May 2021 to December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ACORD Solutions Group as an Advisor from March 2021 to May 2021. Mark spent a significant portion of their career at Marsh, where they held positions such as Global CIO from May 2017 to February 2021, Managing Director in various CIO and CTO roles from 2009 to 2017, and SVP in technical architecture and head of architecture roles from 2003 to 2006. Before Marsh, they worked at Vitria Technology, Inc. as a Senior Consulting Architect from September 1999 to September 2003, and at 3Com as a Principal Software Engineer/Engineering Manager from January 1996 to September 1999. Mark's early career began at Network Designers Ltd, where they worked as a Software Engineer from July 1990 to January 1996.
From 1987 to 1990, Mark Cook attended the University of Leeds, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree (Honors) in Computer Science.
