Raphael Bennett

Raphael Bennett has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Raphael started in 2007 as an Assistant Store Manager at EB Games, where they gained customer service skills and leadership experience. In 2010, they worked as a Director at the Robotics Camp, teaching kids how to build and program Lego Mindstorms. Raphael then joined GameZone DVD as an Inventory Manager and Sales supervisor. In 2017, Raphael entered the digital publishing industry, becoming a Lead Editor at TheGamer.com. Raphael later took on the role of Content Manager for multiple brands, overseeing teams of editors and freelancers. Raphael also served as a Lead Evergreen Content Manager, helping develop strategies for key sections of the sites. In 2021, Raphael transitioned to Valnet as a Product Manager for TheGamer and Game Rant, ensuring the success of these gaming brands. Most recently, they became the Content Director for Gaming at Valnet, responsible for the success of multiple gaming brands and developing unique strategies to face industry challenges. Additionally, they hold the position of Content Director at DualShockers and GameRant.com. Throughout their career, Raphael has honed their communication and organizational skills while working with teams and managing multiple responsibilities.

Raphael Bennett completed their high school education at F.A.C.E. School, acquiring a High School Diploma between 2001 and 2006. Subsequently, they attended Dawson College from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a DEC in Cinema and Communications. Raphael further pursued their education at Concordia University from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a Joint Specialization in English and History.
