Igor Kobelev

Igor Kobelev is a seasoned stage manager and production manager with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, currently serving as a Stage Manager at Dubai Opera since July 2022. Prior roles include stage management and production management for notable events such as "Why? The Musical" and Al Wasl Shows during Expo 2020 Dubai, as well as stage manager at La Perle by Dragone, where significant safety measures were implemented for reopening during the pandemic. Igor has also contributed to various productions with Cirque du Soleil, Showtime Entertainment, and Dragone, demonstrating strong skills in project management, logistics, and crew coordination. Igor’s career includes leadership roles at EDO cafe and Atlantis The Palm, highlighting a comprehensive background in operations management and team leadership. Educational qualifications were obtained at Slavic University of Moldova from 2007 to 2009.
