Edward Pretty

Edward (Ted) Pretty serves as the Chair of Dubber since January 2025, leading the Board to support the Executive team and represent shareholders in a company specializing in recording and conversational AI for the telecommunications industry. In addition, Ted has held various leadership roles, including Chairman of Darwin Capital since April 2011, and Board Member positions at Firmus Technologies and RedEye. Other significant roles include Chairman at SMC Cloud, Executive Chairman at Cipherpoint, and CEO and Managing Director of Covata Limited, where focus was on data-centric security solutions. Ted has also contributed as a Senior Adviser in the Venture Capital Group at Macquarie Group and as Advisory Chairman for Tech Mahindra in Australia and New Zealand. Ted holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.
