Jeff Dutton

Jeff Dutton has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Jeff is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Duck Creek Technologies since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Engineering at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) from April 2020 until October 2022. Jeff also held roles at Ultimate Software, where they served as the Senior Director of Engineering from August 2019 to April 2020, and as the Director, Distinguished Architect from September 2018 to August 2019. Before joining Ultimate Software, they worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, holding positions such as InfoSight Data Platform Architect, where they were responsible for developing the next generation InfoSight data analytics platform, and Lead Architect for StoreFront Remote Analytics Portal, where they led the creation and delivery of a cloud-based IoT Analytics Portal for storage products. Jeff also gained experience at Stratus Technologies, where they served as Lead Developer for Cloud Products and as a Software Architect and Product Owner, and at Sun Microsystems, Mindspeed Technologies, and Compaq Computer, where they held various engineering roles.

Jeff Dutton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they studied Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2014.
