Andreas Dewes

Andreas Dewes is an accomplished professional in the fields of privacy engineering and data science, currently working at DuckDuckGo since January 2022. As Co-Founder and CEO of KIProtect since July 2019, Andreas focuses on making data security and privacy accessible for organizations through advanced cryptographic and data engineering methods. Andreas also founded 7scientists GmbH, serving as CEO, and previously held the role of Senior Data Scientist at Deutsche Cyber Sicherheitsorganisation DCSO. With experience as Founder and CTO at QuantifiedCode, Andreas developed data-driven solutions to improve software code management. Andreas's academic background includes a PhD in Quantum Physics from Université de Paris VI, and two Master's degrees in Quantitative Business Administration and Physics from Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen.
