Over time, the idea of Duct Tape Theory has evolved, grown, and come into its own. What started as scattered thoughts on a piece of paper turned into a site for independent action sports media today, ingeniously weaving words, visuals, and audio to showcase the gritty beauty of life at the fringes of our maps.

Duct Tape Theory blends the immersive appeal of documentaries with the intimate storytelling of podcasts and the power of written words stripping back the layers to reveal the throbbing heart of action sports, adventure and life at the fringes of our maps.

Each episode represents a postcard from a place that's left its mark on the adventure and action sports world, as host and creator Sunny Fassler passes through - trading waves, toasting drinks, trading tales with locals and travelers alike, cherishing the long nights and reminiscing the fleeting days.

But every place hides its own magic, a unique quality that only those who call these places home can truly convey. That's why in each episode, Sunny is joined by four friends, each offering a unique perspective to help paint a vivid picture of their corner of the world.

Bound by a shared passion for storytelling and adventure — some of us are riders of boards and beasts, climbers of rocks and chasers of air, while others are kings and queens of concrete and artists of their own fate.

Each episode brings you face-to-face with the individuals who have left indelible marks on their communities and the restless spirits who continue to push against the horizon - an enduring testament to the fact that life at full tilt is the only way to truly feel alive.

The show is an unapologetic celebration of the unexplored and a deep dive into a world where culture, people, purpose, and the thrill of the unexplored collide.

Duct Tape Theory is for those who celebrate the appeal of the unexplored, embrace an open mind, and toast to the unapologetic spirit of adventure.
