Dudes in Development is a professional community built for men working across the land development industry who want a place to connect, mentor, and grow alongside others navigating the same challenges and opportunities.

Modeled after the successful framework of Ladies in Land, Dudes in Development follows the same foundational playbook of education, networking, and industry collaboration, bringing together professionals involved in every stage of the development process, from acquisition and entitlement to engineering, construction, and community operations.

While education and industry insight remain a core component, Dudes in Development places an even stronger emphasis on mentorship and belonging. The reality is that many men in the industry lack structured environments where they can openly share experiences, learn from one another, and support the next generation of professionals entering the field.

Through local chapter meetups, industry conversations, and relationship-driven gatherings, Dudes in Development creates space for:

• Peer mentorship and leadership development
• Stronger professional relationships across disciplines
• Honest conversations about career growth and challenges
• Community-building within the development industry

At its core, Dudes in Development exists because professionals perform better, and industries become stronger, when people have a place to belong, contribute, and grow together.

Just as Ladies in Land has created a powerful network supporting women across the development ecosystem, Dudes in Development aims to build a parallel community where men can engage, mentor, and invest in the future of the industry.

Because when strong communities form inside the industry, better communities are built outside of it.
