Michael Schäffner

Michael Schäffner's work experience began in 2006 as a Management Trainee at Auberge du Soleil, Relais & Châteaux. From there, they worked as a Tower Services Manager at The Setai, Leading Hotels of the World, and then as a Resident Manager at Roomers, a member of Design Hotels. In 2010, they joined Nor1 as an Account Revenue Manager and later became the Director of Strategic Accounts. Michael then served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Serenata IntraWare, where they focused on the EMEA region. In 2013, they started working as a Guest Lecturer at DHBW Ravensburg and also opened the DACH office as the Director DACH at Duetto, responsible for business development and sales in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Most recently, they became a Board Member at HSMAI Region Europe in 2021.

Michael Schäffner attended the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) from 2003 to 2006, where they received a Diplom Betriebswirt degree in Business Administration. During the same period, they also attended The Open University and obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
