Duke Makes is a 3D design and digital manufacturing studio working at the intersection of art, design, and engineering. We combine creative thinking with hands-on making to deliver original solutions for architects, galleries, and cultural organisations.

Our in-house capabilities include 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and CNC machining, giving us full control over quality, detail, and delivery. From concept to construction, our team designs, prototypes, and produces projects that challenge convention and celebrate craft - creating work that is thoughtful, purposeful, and beautifully made.

We collaborate with architects, artists, museums, galleries, and cultural organisations, adapting our approach for diverse contexts and audiences. Our work spans exhibitions, brand activations, installations, and bespoke components - all crafted in-house by our multidisciplinary team to ensure originality, efficiency, and impact.

Recent projects include creating Miffy's 70th Birthday Exhibition for Leeds City Museum - a record-breaking installation featuring interactive 3D elements and large-scale fabrications that captured the character's timeless charm for both children and adults.
