Nick Smith

Nick Smith, CEng MIET, is a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Dulas Ltd since February 2021, Nick provides leadership and technical expertise across diverse projects, including high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), and hazardous area design. Previously, Nick held senior roles at Booth Welsh and Gamesa, where responsibilities included technical oversight and project management in complex electrical systems, particularly in the wind energy sector. Prior experience at Converteam involved leading a team on high-profile naval projects and integrating advanced electrical technologies for military applications. Nick earned a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde from 1989 to 1993.
