Tom McGee

Tom McGee is a dramaturge, playwright, producer, puppeteer, and performer based in Toronto, Ontario. As the co-founder and associate artistic director of Theatre Brouhaha, Tom contributed significantly to the company's vision and has dramaturged and produced its scripts, leading to sold-out performances across several cities. In their role as Director of Content at Wattpad, Tom develops strategies to support Gen Z and Gen Alpha writers while overseeing a diverse content team. Additionally, they served as an adjunct lecturer at Queen's University, teaching introductory playwriting, and created the beloved Shakey-Shake and Friends Puppet Theatre, which specializes in engaging adaptations of classic works for young audiences. Tom's extensive creative and educational work has left a lasting impact on the artistic community.
