Carrie Wang has a diverse and impressive work experience. Carrie began their career at Bain & Company as a Senior Associate Consultant from 2011 to 2013. Carrie then moved to KKR, a leading global investment firm, where they worked as an Associate from 2013 to 2015. At KKR, they were part of the KKR Capstone team, responsible for driving operational improvements in portfolio companies.
After KKR, Carrie joined A+E Networks in 2017 as the Chief of Staff to the President of International & Digital. In this role, they were the President's right-hand person and played a key role in strategic and financial planning, as well as leading digital transformation and business development initiatives. Carrie left A+E Networks in 2019.
Since 2019, Carrie has been with Duolingo, the leading digital education and language learning platform globally. Carrie initially served as the Director of Strategy & Business Operations, where they were responsible for international expansion strategy and leading early growth efforts in Asia. In 2022, they took on the role of Head of Duolingo English Test & Regional Business Lead, Asia.

Carrie Wang attended The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Finance. Carrie also participated in an Academic Exchange program at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, Carrie is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
