Dan Chen

Dan Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dan most recently worked as a Marketing Specialist at Duolingo starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were an English Instructor at New Oriental Education & Technology Group from June 2022. Before their teaching role, Dan worked as a PMM at UMU from February 2022 to June 2022. Dan also has experience in public relations, having served as a Public Relations Manager at Moonshot Academy from June 2019 to February 2022. Dan's earlier experience includes working in TikTok User Operation at ByteDance from June 2018 to June 2019, serving as a Student Advisor at John Jay College (CUNY) from September 2017 to June 2018, and working as a Community Action Specialist at Gibney Dance in May 2017. Dan started their career as a Social Worker at Henry Street Settlement in September 2016.

Dan Chen earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wuhan University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Social Work at Columbia University from 2016 to 2018.
