Daniel Sherman

Daniel Sherman has a strong background in motion design and animation. Daniel started their career as a Motion Designer at Kent State University in 2018, where they worked until 2019. Daniel then joined Clum Creative as a Motion Designer from 2019 to 2020. After that, they worked as a Motion Designer for the Cleveland Indians from February 2020 to May 2020. In 2020, Daniel took on freelance work as a Motion Designer. In 2022, they joined Gunner as a Motion Designer and later joined Duolingo as a 2D Animator.

Daniel Sherman completed their bachelor's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at Kent State University from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in animation and design. Daniel completed the "Advanced 2D Animation (Advanced Motion Methods)" certification at the School of Motion in February 2021. In August 2019, they completed the "Design Bootcamp" certification and the "Animation Bootcamp" certification, both at the School of Motion. Daniel also obtained certifications from Lynda.com, including "Logo Animation Techniques" in March 2019, "Graphic Design Foundations: Color" in February 2019, "Illustrator CC 2018 One-on-One Fundamentals" in February 2019, "Learning Screenwriting with Final Draft 10" in February 2019, "Photoshop CC 2019 One-on-One: Fundamentals" in February 2019, "After Effects CC 2018 Essential Training: The Basics" in October 2018, "Graphic Design Foundations: Layout and Composition" in October 2018, "Graphic Design Foundations: Typography" in October 2018, "Mograph Techniques: Shape Animation in After Effects" in October 2018, "After Effects CC 2018 Essential Training: Motion Graphics" in September 2018, "Animation Foundations: Fundamentals" in September 2018, "Learning Motion Graphics" in September 2018, "Foundations of Video: The Art of Editing" in March 2018, "Introduction to Video Dialogue Editing" in March 2018, "Learning Video Production and Editing" in March 2018, "Photography Foundations: Composition" in March 2018, and "Exploring Photography: Shooting in Raw Mode" in December 2017.
