Dave Lishego

Dave Lishego has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dave started their career at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as an Associate Professional Staff member, where they focused on data analysis and reporting for naval research projects. Dave then worked at Metropolitan Acoustics as an Acoustical Consultant, managing projects related to noise control and A/V design for commercial buildings. Dave later joined Moore College of Art and Design as an Adjunct Faculty member, teaching a class on Architectural Acoustics. Dave also served as VP of Product Development at Aurochs Brewing Company, leading initiatives for product launch and coordinating equipment purchasing. Dave then worked as an Associate Intern at BlueTree Capital Group, where they managed operations and led initiatives in deal screening and due diligence. Following that, they joined Innovation Works/Riverfront Ventures as a Senior Investment Associate, responsible for seed-stage investments and running accelerators. Most recently, they joined Duolingo as a Senior Financial Analyst and later became the Director of FP&A.

Dave Lishego received their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Penn State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Dave furthered their education by pursuing an MBA at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 2011 to 2013. Dave'sMBA focused on finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
