Edwin Bodge

Edwin Bodge has a diverse work experience. Edwin started their career at Micro-Ant LLC in 2015, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Product Developer. Edwin developed automated software programs to evaluate antenna performance, significantly reducing analysis time and improving efficiency.

In 2016, Edwin worked as a Biomedical Technician at Engineering World Health. Edwin received training in medical instrumentation repair and Spanish language and contributed to extending La Clinica Iniciativa Medica's inventory of medical devices. Edwin also trained healthcare professionals to effectively utilize the equipment.

In 2017, Edwin joined Duolingo as a Product Management Intern. Edwin focused on defining strategies for travelers on the platform and conducted user interviews, market analysis, and design work.

Edwin's career at Duolingo continued with various roles starting in 2018. Edwin worked as an Associate Product Manager, where they contributed to the company's product development and management. Edwin later became a Product Manager and was responsible for subscriptions and ad products, including the successful launch of IAP microtransactions. In 2020, Edwin was promoted to Senior Product Manager and, most recently, to Principal Product Manager in 2022.

Before their professional career, Edwin was involved in leadership roles at Duke University. Edwin served as the Vice President and later as the President of the Engineering Student Government. In these roles, they managed various student organizations, organized social and networking events, and initiated a new pre-orientation program called Project EDGE.

Edwin Bodge completed their high school education at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville from 2010 to 2014. Afterward, they attended Duke University from 2014 to 2018 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Edwin also obtained a certification as a Duolingo Certified Educator in October 2016 from Duolingo.
