Elaine Everett

Elaine Everett has a diverse range of work experience. Elaine worked as a Senior Quality Control Specialist (Contract) at Duolingo since September 2021, following their previous role as a Quality Control Specialist (Contract) from April 2020 to September 2021. Prior to their time at Duolingo, Elaine worked as a Teacher at Preply starting in December 2019 and will continue until July 2023. Before that, they were an English Second Language Teacher at Beyond English LLC from March 2018 to December 2021, teaching primarily Chinese students using an online platform. Elaine also has experience as a Writing Center Tutor at Mississippi College, where they assisted students with various writing tasks from June 2014 to August 2018. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Instructor for the IEP (Intensive English Program) at Mississippi College from August 2016 to January 2017. Elaine was also the Co-Newsletter Editor at the Mississippi College Writing Center from January 2015 to May 2016, where they organized tutors to contribute to the Writing Centered newsletter.

Elaine Everett attended Mississippi College from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing.
