Jill Lanney

Jill Lanney currently serves in Strategy, BizOps, and CorpDev at Duolingo, contributing to the company's mission of providing universal access to quality education since September 2022. Previously, Jill held the position of Co-Chief Investment Officer at the Stanford GSB Impact Fund from November 2020 to May 2022, focusing on investments in early-stage ventures with social and environmental goals. Additional experience includes roles as Chief of Staff in an MBA internship at Encantos, a startup fellow at Kapor Capital, and various consultancy positions at The Bridgespan Group. Jill's early career also features management and editorial roles at Brown Daily Herald Inc., alongside internships at the Ittleson Foundation Inc. and the Governor's Office of Citizen Services. Jill holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University.
