Kyle Ruane

Kyle Ruane has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kyle is currently working at Duolingo as a Staff Product Designer since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Designer at Duolingo from May 2019 to September 2022.

Before joining Duolingo, Kyle worked as a Freelance Designer & Creative Consultant for various companies from September 2010 onwards. Kyle also served as a Senior Product Designer at Cotton Bureau from January 2017 to April 2019.

In addition, Kyle was a Co-founder of Plain, a design company, from November 2012 to August 2016. Kyle worked as a Principal/Designer at Argyll Studios from September 2010 to November 2012.

Earlier in their career, Kyle worked as a Design Lead at Solid Cactus Web.com, Inc. from September 2007 to September 2010. Kyle also gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Bailey Design and Advertising and as an Art Director at Connections Magazine, both from August 2005 to August 2007.

Kyle Ruane attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1999 to 2004. Kyle earned a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Art during this time.
